B.o.B Mixtapes

These are the first 3 mixtapes that B.o.B put out. All three are solid tapes, and I think I prefer most of these tracks over the tracks off his album. His album seemed much more mainstream, which is almost what you have to do to make money these days, but these tapes are how I grew to love B.o.B so I hope they strike you the same way.

Who the Fuck is B.o.B?

Great Tape. I had only heard a couple songs by him when this dropped, so it was kind of the initial project that got me interested. So many good songs, give it a listen through but here are my favourites.

B.o.B vs. Bobby Ray

Probably his best tape overall. So many good songs, the tape deserves a fair listen through. Love the Fury beats, he tears them up. Wish he would put more stuff like this on an album.

May 25th

Another classic. Named for his albums original release date, which got pushed back. Some of the songs on this are starting to sound more like his album, but still mostly prefer these.

There is tons of music to listen to here. I envy anyone who is yet to hear it. Give it a chance and I guarantee it will grow on you.

Sit Down, Man

Das Racist follow up mixtape to "Shut Up, Dude". Bit of an acquired taste but a few listens through and you will see what I see. I love the underground feel these guys have, but a lot of the beats are still quite catchy. Enjoy.
